A small wall sconce mounted on a plain plaster wall panel: a solid chalk-slip stoneware dome, 6 inches wide, 10 tall, mounted DEAD CENTRE in front of its own aged-bronze wall plate, the plate cut noticeably larger than the dome in every direction.
