Room VII
The Library
A double-height room built around books and a fire, with a gallery rail overhead and window seats deep enough to disappear into. Light falls from high windows and pools low, where the reading happens. This room rewards a long stay, and whatever furnishes it should hold up to years of exactly that use, not merely survive it.

The room's own light
“Photographed once, under one light.”
VII
The pieces
Everything in this room is for sale
“Lamps glowing gently, even in daylight.”
