A square games table, 44 by 44 inches, 30 inches tall, in a strictly MODERN idiom: a thick 2.5-inch limed white oak top with softly radiused edges, carried on two heavy SQUARE-SECTION slab pedestals of the same pale limed oak, plain flat-sided blocks, tapering slightly, with no turning, no baluster, no vase shape, no carving, no moulding and no cruciform feet.
