Stamp, print, engrave or embroider any brand, maker or studio name; every surface is completely plain and unmarked. A pair of tall stoneware vases for branches, one 20 in tall and one 16 in tall, standing together, both glazed in a smooth matte bone slip over raw stoneware.

| Signature | Each vase is thrown round only through its upper two-thirds; the lower third is hand-paddled while leather-hard into a true flat-sided square in plan, the transition from square base to round body a single continuous, unbroken taper with no seam, step, or applied collar, the vase must clearly read as ONE seamless continuous form, The square base sits flush and stable, unable to roll, against the shelf edge behind it. |
