A hand-knotted wool rug, 6 by 9 ft, undyed wheat wool, high-low hand-shear pile. The pile is cut in alternating bands of two heights running across the rug's width, so raking light reads the floor in a rhythm of ridge and hollow, like the staves of a barrel seen from above, texture only, no dye line anywhere. Render at true object scale.
