| Signature | The seat is a tight coil of undyed natural rush, wound flat from the centre outward in a continuous spiral and secured at the rim, sitting loose in a shallow turned oak cradle, no fabric, no foam, no upholstery anywhere, the coiled rush itself is the entire visible seat surface, its spiral clearly legible from directly above and from the side. |
