A large floor rug, 8 by 11 ft, hand-loomed in undyed natural jute, straw-tan, in a deliberately loose open lattice weave, thick jute cords crossing at wide, even intervals with a distinct open gap between every cord, like a coarse screen door mesh or a sieve, the gaps as wide as the cords themselves; hemmed ends, no fringe, no dye, no pattern beyond the weave itself.
