A long planter trough, 24 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 8 inches tall, cast in one piece in raw unglazed pale terracotta, a single open unbroken basin from end to end, there is only ONE open interior.

| Signature | Looking inside the trough, a thin horizontal shelf (a step, or rabbet) is cast into the inside faces of the long walls only, set a few inches down from the rim and running the full 24-inch length, this shelf is a narrow ledge attached to the walls, and the open basin continues right through beneath and past it at full width. |
