A tall cylindrical floor vessel for cut branches, 13 inches in diameter, 24 inches tall, thrown in raw stoneware and dipped in matte bone slip. The signature, only once the jar holds water: the body is thrown in two long vertical halves and rejoined pole to pole in a single hairline seam, invisible dry, but the first drops of water always find that seam first and bead along its whole length before…
