Facing Vessel
$620
A pair of thrown stoneware floor vessels shown together, one tall at 22 in high and 11 in diameter, one short at 15 in high and 9 in diameter, both dipped in a matte chalk slip over a raw stoneware body, the round wheel-thrown bodies otherwise plain and unornamented.

| Signature | On both vessels the round thrown body stays a perfect potter's circle, but the neck alone has been reworked by hand into a soft oval mouth that faces outward, an oval opening set into an otherwise entirely round, wheel-true form, the one hand-finished gesture on each piece. |
