A ten-foot dining table, 120 in wide, 44 in deep, 30 in tall, in solid limed white oak with a warm chalky lime residue standing in the open grain, a two-inch-thick solid oak top with breadboard ends resting on two thick trestle end-supports, aprons set well back from the top's edge to preserve knee clearance for ten diners, no legs anywhere along the long sides.

| Signature | A continuous pale oak spine runs the entire underframe between the two trestle ends like a boat's keel, a structural stretcher beam buried flush along most of its length but surfacing as a soft raised ridge proud by three eighths of an inch exactly where it meets each trestle end, bow and stern of the same table. |
