$16,800

A ten-foot dining table, 120 in wide, 44 in deep, 30 in tall, in solid limed white oak with a warm chalky lime residue standing in the open grain, a two-inch-thick solid oak top with breadboard ends resting on two thick trestle end-supports, aprons set well back from the top's edge to preserve knee clearance for ten diners, no legs anywhere along the long sides.

SignatureA continuous pale oak spine runs the entire underframe between the two trestle ends like a boat's keel, a structural stretcher beam buried flush along most of its length but surfacing as a soft raised ridge proud by three eighths of an inch exactly where it meets each trestle end, bow and stern of the same table.
