Keel

Keel takes its name from the dining chair that started it: a pale oak spine buried through the frame, surfacing only at bow and stern as a soft raised ridge. The study's desk splices two boards in one visible scarf pinned with bronze; the library's shelves carry the same pin as a recessed rail. Nothing is joined in secret — the seam is always the point.
