Scarf Desk

A writing desk 62 inches wide, 30 inches deep, 29.5 inches high, with a low, thick-sectioned solid-oak top 2.25 inches thick standing on four gently tapered, chamfered oak legs joined by a slim apron carrying two shallow flush drawers with recessed bronze pulls, the whole form pale and matte in limed white oak.

| Signature | The top's two board lengths meet in a long tapered scarf splice angled across the full 30-inch depth, its diagonal line rising through the desktop and surfacing on the thick front edge, pinned along its length with a row of six dark aged-bronze dowels, the joint is the desk's only ornament. |
