| Signature | Each of the four bronze rods carries a row of fine shallow RINGS turned around it at half-inch intervals, evenly spaced the rod's full exposed length above the top board, each ring a distinct raised band with a smooth flat gap between rings, a real calibration scale, so tightening each wingnut to the same ring by eye replaces guesswork with an even, readable measure across all four corners. |
