A single solid aged-bronze stair rod, 38 inches long, half an inch in diameter, with a small turned finial at each end, shown resting in its two small bronze stirrup brackets that would pin it into the angle of a stair riser. Matte hand-rubbed bronze throughout, no lacquer, no shine.

| Signature | Each bracket is a simple forged L-shaped stirrup, a thin flat mounting foot plate meeting a short upright cradle arm at a right angle, the exact angle of a stair riser meeting a tread, with the rod resting in a shallow U-notch cut across the top of the upright arm, thin gauge forged metal throughout. |
