| Signature | At the center of the rug, beneath where a table would sit, the pile's knotting direction reverses within one large soft diamond field, visible only as a shift in sheen and nap direction where light catches the reversed pile differently from the field around it, no dye boundary, no printed pattern, the shape made entirely by the direction the wool itself lies. |
