The Outdoor Living Terrace

A pergola over a terrace facing the sea, the closest the house comes to being outdoors while still furnished like a room. Sun falls through the slats in moving bars across the floor, softened but never dim. Everything out here is tested daily by salt air and full weather. Pieces have to hold their shape and color through it, and invite a whole evening of sitting once the heat breaks.
