Turned-Lid Box

A small lidded box, 7 by 5 inches, 4.5 tall, bored from a single solid block of honed ivory travertine, its open pore-veining across every face, with bold, then rotated a quarter turn before fitting, so on the box's front face the bold vein streaks run one clear diagonal direction across the lower base section, then visibly jump to a distinctly different angle.
